LovinNY asked:
My husband is going to have a vasectomy reversal and my question is, can it, as infertility treatment, be deducted from taxes? At least part of it? Some websites compared it to the medical procedure to correct one’s disability (to have children) and such, I understood, are deductible. Do medical expenses have to be 7.5 % Gross Annual Income to be tax-deductible?

yodasminion asked: Historically we’ve had much higher taxes, especially in the ’50s and ’60s, and our economy was growing at a faster rate then than it is now. We raised taxes in the ’90s and it grew faster than in the ’80s, when we cut taxes.
I know the information economy has something to do with it, but IT was possible because we had an overall strong economy.

JLO asked:
My husband and I got married last year and will be filing our taxes jointly this year. My parents have always had their accountant do my taxes and my husband has done his own the last few years. This year we’d like to go to an accountant, but how do we go about finding a good one? I’ve searched yellow pages and there’s a lot listed, so how do we know which ones are good? Or are they all pretty much the same?

Mastermind asked:
I read that the first 2400 recieved in unemployment is tax free. If I’ve already paid taxes on it then how do I claim that amount on my taxes? I was told to use the w-4v but from what I can see, that is only a request to the payer to stop or start the withholding. Since the withholding has already happend, how do I get that back on taxes.
