How do I fix state taxes incorrectly withheld?
Saturday, October 24th, 2009Ron B asked:
I work for a company based in PA. I have never lived or worked in PA. I worked for them in NY and then moved to TX. When I received my W-2 I found that state taxes were withheld for the time I was in NY for PA and not NY. They seem to think this is my issue to resolve. Can I file as if the taxes were withheld for NY? How can I fix this?

“I want to borrow money, sources including friends and relatives, to gamble at offshore sportsbooks. Interest would be paid on their investment at the end of a designated term. First, this isn’t “aiding and abetting” others to illegally gamble, correct? Assuming not, what would I do for taxes? I know very little in this area. Thanks in advance. “
